We celebrate today the birth of a baby 2000 years ago. No ordinary baby for he was the Son of God, the Christ: God veiled in flesh, gloriously perfect and showing us what God the Father was really like.
Not only this but this baby came with another and most important purpose and that was as the perfect sinless Son of God to die on the cross. He was the perfect offering for sin and as we accept Christ today we can know sins forgiven and a life of magnificent adventure in God. Not only that but when we die or Jesus comes again we have a secure home in heaven. And if that is not glorious enough the bible says we will reign with Him, so Christian friend share this glorious hope with those around you.

The book of Thessalonians tells us when Christ comes again those Christians who remain alive, will be given glorified bodies and those who have died their spirits will be united with their resurrected and glorified bodies and together we will be caught up to heaven. I believe one glorious party will ensue. Let your imagination capture the scene: you have a gloriously wonderful future and it’s worth getting a bit excited and spreading this news. Christmas time reminds us of a glorious beginning and the possibilities for the future are virtually impossible as human beings to comprehend.
