Urgent Message to Church

Urgency in our mission to planet Earth

I awoke quite early this morning with great sense of hurry as time appeared to be running out. Now that could be simply God warning me that He has mission for me to complete before it is my time to be with Him. That of course is undoubtably true of us all as God is calling us His Church to reach out to our world to powerfully present Christ to the nations before He returns to earth.

However I felt this feeling I had, carried a heavy sense of urgency that could not be ignored. Anyone with half an ear to the media, cannot deny that this world is in a mess, and leaders across the world are wondering what next will come on the earth. The discerning, thinking people across the nations, I believe cannot help but realise that the change in weather patterns, terrible diseases running rampant in various countries, militant religious groups causing great fear amongst millions across the world, floods and earthquakes are all indicators this world cannot continue as it is for much longer. Like a volcano, ready to blow, it would seem this world is teetering on the edge of catastrophic disaster. God is shaking the nations it would seem.

However I have good news, as a Christian, I believe God will not let us, His creatures, destroy this planet utterly. God is going to step into time and bring justice and judgement and renew this very damaged planet of ours. In fact the scriptures talk of a new heaven and earth. The language used conveys to us the sense that it is a renewing or remodelling of the old.
Now the sense of urgency affects us all in this sense that the Christian Church needs to wake up and preach the gospel of Christ with power, expecting God to perform signs and wonders that will bring great glory to His name. Individual Christians need to get really serious about truly walking with God and renew the powerful call to all on planet earth to get right with God before it is too late.
